Whether political, religious, gender, size, race- everyone deserves to be and become who they are. As long as they're not harming anybody, why not?

Thanks for posting these blogs. I am in week 6 and trying very hard to stay focused. After week 2 I lost 3 lbs and was thrilled. The scale has not budged since. I am sticking to the EFL meals and hitting my 10's. I have set and achieved "mini-goals" for my workouts to make sure I hit 10s consistently and have seen progress in lifting heavier wts and going further distance during my 20 min. cardio sessions. However, I'm not seeing any drastic results. My husband (who is also doing the challenge with me) says he can tell a difference, but I do not. We are supporting each other and even went running together over Thanksgiving weekend to make sure we did some workout, since we were out of town. I'm determined to see this through to the end, even though Christmas and New Year's will be during weeks 10 and 11 for us. I already planned my workouts for this month, working around the holidays (as my free days) and other social events to make sure I get all of my workouts in. I know working out 6 days a week has got to produce some results eventually and I'm only half way there. It was helpful and encouraging to read that I am not the only one still waiting to feel a major difference after 6 weeks. Hopefully in 2 more weeks, I'll experience the 8 week miracle too.

Thank you to EVERYONE who has contributed to the 8 week miracle articles & a BIG thanks to Mike for mentioning this on the BFL web site. I've just ended week 5 and have tried not to be discouraged but now I feel much better. When I have dieted in the past, I drop weight very quickly but typically not in a healthy way - eating very little, taking diet pills to control the hunger & not working out much until after weight was lost... but I do typically drop the weight quickly once I decide I'm going to... So this time, I have had to tell myself (often) that eating this healthy and working out this much HAS to be doing some good. I have lost 5 lbs, approx 3% body fat & 8 in so far so I don't feel as discouraged now after reading the stories. Normally after a month I would be down 12-15 lbs so I was getting scared! Especially to be this SORE, I expected faster progress. Anyway, I will be back with my 8-12 week story -- I'm definitely committed now to keep going! Thanks for the encouragement!!!
