Oops, also wanted to say that I've tried BFl a few times and never been able to stick at it. The things I struggle with most are fairly important components to the BFL lifestyle: Right foods in the right amounts, the right combination at the right time. Well, I'm trying, er working towards it again...this time as part of my lifestyle.

Hi,
I've just found your site and we share a few things in common. Sort of. I'm a wife and mum who is aiming to get fit and healthy...but more importantly I'm a daughter of The King. I am very encouraged by your articles as much of the weight loss/body building/fitness/health information available doesn't encourage or strengthen my body, mind and soul.

Thanks!

Hi Mike,

Thank you for the tips. I am on my 8th week and I would have to say I am in the similar situation as Karen. I started the diet at 145lbs and I've lost 1lb so far. I know it tells you not to go by the scale, but I haven't noticed a big change in my clothes and I haven't lost any body fat. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I do my cardio early morning before eating and i do the weight training after work. Am I doing something wrong? I am really trying to lose the lower stomach body fat and the side fat. I do notice a difference in my arms and legs, but I am looking to have a smaller waist. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hi Mike,
It is amazing to hear the encouragement of waiting for weeks 6-8. My question is this. I feel like I am eating too much. I am 5'11" and I know it may sound funny but I have big hands. So, my portions seem like they are big. Is this ok? I am no longer feeling hungry between meals so I assume things are going well. I just started and I want to do things right. Please help. Also, being taller, should I eat higher calories or will the 200 per meal average be ok? Thank you so much for your devotion to health and others!

Hi Mike,
I've actually been doing 5 - 300 calorie meals, but it sounds like you are saying 6 - 200 calorie meals. So, is 1200 calories right? Doesn't seem like much, but I do want to lose the weight, so let me know your thoughts. Thanks! Melisa

Thank you so much for this article. I was very discouraged. I lost 1 pound on the seventh week! That was it. Now I will wait for the next few weeks and be excited for those results. I love this program!! I feel great and I can see the muscle coming.

Hi Mike, thank you for the reminders. I
remember that the last time I did a challenge
nothing showed until the 8th week. I will
be starting Transformation challenge on
February 9th and I'm glad I read your post.

I'm a bit discouraged but I'm not giving up. I'm just finishing my 11th week of BFL and have seen very little result.
I wasn't heavy to begin with but I really wanted to lose body fat. I used to run every day but during the 11 weeks, I've only been doing what the book suggested. I have gained muscle - I can see that in my arms and legs but my gut is still big.

I have been eating 6 small meals. Actually more like 3 meals/3 snacks. I looked at the women champion meals on the BFL site and that's pretty much how they ate. So what am I doing wrong?? :(
